HandiRoll 550GB
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
CAUTION: You should only use the HandiRoll 550 for diluted liquids and dilutable paints,
such as water soluble, latex and acrylic paints, as not all components are
solvent resistant. To ensure as long a useful life as possible of your HandiRoll
550, it should be thoroughly cleaned immediately after each use.
PREPARING THE WORKPLACE AND THE PAINT
Before beginning work, cover or tape up the oor, furniture, door frames and other
•
objects.
Place the unit on a suciently sized piece of plastic or cardboard.

Stir the paint well and thin up to 10 % if necessary (observe information from
•
manufacturer).
SETUP
Assemble roller cover, core and cap.1.
Attach assembly to the roller arm, making sure the roller assembly snaps into the

locking tab (a).
Press the quick-release tabs on the unit (a) and attach the arm to the handle (b).3.
Slide the large end of the ll tube through the can clip.4.
Attach the clip to the side of the paint can, making sure that the ll tube is submerged 5.
into the paint.
FILLING THE HANDIROLL 550
Turn the switch on the main handle to 6. FILL.
Press down and rmly hold the ll valve of the main tube onto the ll tube. Pull the 7.
plunger to draw the paint into the main tube.
PRIMING THE HANDIROLL 550
Leave switch on

FILL and push plunger tube forward until you see paint coming
through the roller cover.
9. Once paint appears, ip switch to APPLY and begin rolling. Squeeze Power Trigger®
for additional paint as needed.
Do not oversaturate the roller. Rell HandiRoll 550 as necessary to complete project.
During extended break periods, wrap your roller cover in a plastic bag to keep it
from drying out.
